My friend and I went by ourselves (i.e. no children), both of us in our mid 20s . The exhibits are fantastic and fun, even for adults. Try to go later in the afternoon when all of the school groups have left. Hundreds of children running around and interrupting while you are playing with an exhibit can be a little... more

The CSC should be on a MUST VISIT list of every parent. It has lot of activities for children of all ages as well as adults. Goose Bumps the science of fear is an excellent exhibit for everyone. The air and space exhibits are very informative and provides lot of history of space exploration. The rose garden is a welcome... more

I love the Science Center. They have some really sweet exhibits- before there was Star Wars, now there's one about fear. It's free too, which is a nice change of pace from other museums in the area. All in all... a solid 5 stars. Also don't miss Body works hall... I saw a live chick hatch... so cute! more

If you're travelling to L.A. with young kids, you have to check out this place. The facility is ultramodern and recently constructed in the shell of a much older building. It is thoughtfully laid-out and it is easy to navigate. I love how the facility has all kinds of little details embedded throughout. For example, there's a great exhibit showing... more
