The site and the architecture are just fabulous. Don't expect a collection that rivals the great european museums, but expect to experience a beautiful facility. The docents were friendly and very engaged in sharing their knowledge with the visitors. more

If you want somewhere quiet and romantic to go on your trip the Getty is the place to go! It gives you views of the city and you can even see the ocean from up there. Splendid asymmetrical contemporary architecture. As you walk the grounds the buildings change as you change viewing locations.
