My wife and I visited The Getty Center for the 1st time. We enjoyed the architecture, art, and landscaping. We also ate at the Cafeteria, which was very nice. They have a wide variety of food to choose from. They also have wine and beer. It's a little expensive but worth it to be able to stay all day and... More

It is interesting, new, clean. Not really spectacular...but a good place to go to experience at least once. I've been here a few times only escorting out of town friends and family when they come to visit and they want to see it.

The view of the city from here is amazing, and the building is one of Richard Meier's greatest architectural masterpieces.... Those are worth the trip. The gardens are also spectacular, and some of the contemporary at is worth seeing. This is an essential component to any LA visit. Bring a lunch.

Just amazing architecture up the hills. Stones, lights, shadow and natures(garden) perfectly arrange. Great Herb Ritts exibitions with some amazing shots of holliwoods stars. But the rest of the galleries were ok - not outstanding. compare to other leading museums around the wolrd only average. No entry fee but 10 Dollar parking ticket. Thats california.

Do NOT miss this gem. The collections are wonderful and the museum and grounds are as amazing as the collections. The tram ride UP to the museum is worth the visit. The museum is completely free; you pay $15 per car to park, not per person, per car so stuff as many in the car as you can and head... More

A last minute decision on a tight time schedule but so worth it! The gardens alone were amazing and the views incredible. Well worth the visit. Lunch would have been nice with such an amazing scene in front of us. Kids were having a great time all around us so I think its a good family outing. The exhibits are... More

The Getty Center is the best museum in the world. The building is beautifull, the location and garden is stunning and the collection is unbelievable. And all that is for free, you only have to pay for parking your car. I cannot think of a better attraction in the LA area.
