Take a break from "doing something" and just let the kids play on the giant play structures, including a full on train that they can climb on top of. Statue of Dennis the Menace at the entryway gives the park its name. Smaller fenced toddler area is a nice touch.

This park was AWSOME. I loved the slides and the lion water fountain, the climbing structure and well....everything. Kids of all ages can enjoy this park. My son (3) had a blast.

This is part of a larger park with a large lake. There is a large grove of eucalyptus trees that smell wonderful. Many ducks, geese, and other water foul. Limited parking is close by, but fills up fast. As everywhere in Monterey, take a light jacket.

If you have young children you need to stop at this awesome playground. It's not within walking distance of the touristy areas of Monterey but it's worth the quick drive.

Wonderful park!! It is geared mostly towards younger kids, but there are a couple of things that everyone will enjoy! The park has LOTS of fun stuff to do, and the kids will definitely love it!!

I don't see how you can say anything positive about it. It's ugly, it's faded, it's oldfashioned and boring. This is good only when you are four, otherwise nothing exciting there, or maybe i'm spoilt. No cafe, just facilities.

My daughter so wanted to visit the park when we planned things to do in Monterrey. It didn't disappoint. Spent a couple of hours there. Strange roller slide that I feared she would catch her hair in! Otherwise a great adventure.

This may be the best public park I have been to for kids. Parking is tight, so I recommend getting there early. We brought by 20 month old here and he loved it. The train is great to climb on and there are plenty of climbing items to enjoy. It is a large expanse of land, but it still fills... More
