This was the first time I had been on the wine trolley and I had a great time! It was very well organized and took me to many parts of Monterey I had never been to. Gary did an excellent job! We wanted to go wine tasting, learn about local wines and not drive. We were successful on all counts. What we did not expect was such a fun time on the trolley. Goes to the better wineries in Carmel Valley- Fun, easy, care-free time. Much cheaper than a limo and you make new friends. Enjoy the stops in Carmel Valley.... with a good variety of different wineries. One of the best ways to spend and afternoon in the Monterey Peninsula. The Wine Trolley tour is great! We visited numerous tasting rooms and the personnel at the tasting rooms were patient, informative, and fun! It wasn't overcrowded, industrial-sized, touristy, or commercialized as some other wine/vineyard tours in more frequently visited areas might be. I highly recommend taking the wine trolly tour in Monterey/ Carmel. Gary your tour guide and driver has an awesome sense of humor and knows just about everything and everyone in Monterey and in Carmel. He will keep you entertained by telling stories about Monterey, pointing out different scenic sights and introduce you to a few of local winery owners.... more
