Without doubt, Domaine Carneros offers the best sparkling wine in Napa and has a fantastic tour. We really enjoyed trying the grapes, as we did the tasting throughout the tour and the tasting room at the end. One of our favorites in all of Napa. Highly recommended. more

After all the great reviews, I feel a little churlish writing a negative one. However, I was very disappointed by Domaine Carneros. The winery is an impressive building with a pleasant terrace, but it is plagued by continuous noise from the road below. Don't come here expecting great views and tranquility. We've always enjoyed stopping at Domaine Carneros. They have some of the friendliest staff in the Valley, they are generous with their pours, they stay open longer hours than most, and the grounds are beautiful. Went there in November on a weekday. Lovely view. If it wasn't so cold that day, we (2 of us) would have had some champagne outside. Used our Copia passport for a discount on the tastings and the staff were very willing to accept. Attentive waitstaff and very knowledgable. Would recommend spending an hour here when you can. more
