Visited Robert Sinskey winery on Silverado Trail last week. Was great to go during the week as there were only a few others bellied up to the bar. This is a smaller but very interesting winery. The founder is a famous ophthalmologist from Santa Monica, CA, and the wines are well-loved by foodies. The Robert Sinskey winery will never ship as many cases as Mondavi, or for that matter, Geyser Peak.
