Lovely place for a walk, or a dip in the ocean.. (in the summer). It's not as crowded as Huntington, and the air just seems fresh and clean. Parking can be hard to find on weekends or a sunny surfing day... but sometimes we get lucky parking near the beginning of Balboa Peninsula.

We headed to Newport Beach as it was so close to Anaheim and it was not at all what I was expecting, it was much better. Beach was clean, pretty empty (it was March). Parking isn't great, since you are in a residential neighborhood. Nothing special is all I can say.

What else can I say? I live here! Surf, sand, wonderful weather, good shopping, restaurants, hotels...it's all here.

I really like this beach because there's so much of it! Parking isn't the best, but which beach has great parking. It didn't cost much to rent things (umbrella shade, bikes). This beach is quiet, but not boring. We even saw a hump-back whale (glad I wan't i the water)!

It is a clean beach in a beautiful location with a lot of restaurant choices.

Be sure to watch for boat waves, can sweep someone away.

I like the ocean and strolling along the streets with shops.

This beach is good but if ur worried Bout little kids swimming in it. The tow is rough. Laguna seems to be a little calmer and you can easily walk up to the town for lunch
