True, Jack London used to be a horrible theatre with uncomfortable seats and no cup holders, but since the renovation there has been much improvement. there now are cup holders, and more comfortable stadium seating. more

I went to a noontime screening of Road to Perdition and watched it slightly out of focus (in spite of repeated complaints to lobby staff) in a theater that was stuffy and warm. The Jack London Cinema looks quite pleasant from the outside, and in the lobby. It's fairly large and spacious for a downtown cinema, and has a pretty good selection of films (9 showing when we went) - although all mainstream.
