A collaboration between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Opus One arose out of passion. And beginning with the first harvest in 1979, every vintage of Opus One has expressed the vision and passionate spirit of its founders. Our goal is to create a wine of ultimate quality that reflects the traditions and innovations of both founders. « less

What a great experience this was! Pay the price, drink the wine, enjoy the view, and remember it for a lifetime.

Although I am a huge fan of Opus One Cabs . . . I felt like I was treated like a dirt bag at the front desk. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and we had just finished an amazing morning with a ballon ride over NAPA. We were greeted by a blonde (don't care to recall her name)... More

I would never have purchased a bottle of wine priced at over $200. However work colleague introduced me to Opus One. He was comparing Opus One to silk. So with an open mind I wanted to see what Opus One is all about. Is the wine really worth the $200 per bottle price or just hype? So I made a... More

I wouldn't go back here if you forced me. The venue is beautiful, but honestly, this place is filled with a bunch of Snooty Snobs. $35 for 1 tasting and a choice between 2 wines. You have to make a reservation when you get there online, then they expect you to wait around for them to confirm it, and then... More

This place feels like a cult, because it is a cult. If you felt people cold and snobby it is because they are. And they are because they worship the devil and you are drinking somehting that comes from devils worshipers. BARONESS PHILLIPINE DE ROTHSCHILD - ONE OF HUMANITY'S ENEMIES. SHE OWNS 'OPUS VINEYARDS'. Okay, I would never say one bottle of wine is worth 250 dollar, but we wanted to buy a gift for friends, so we stopped at the opus one winery. I am not judging whether the building is nice or not, but what I expect from the people serving me while buying this really expensive wine is some attention and... More

This is a must do. The wines are a little pricey at 40. For 1 taste, but they are great and the views are so beautiful.

This winery is very high end. The tasting room is very comfortable and cheese and crackers is included in tasting fee. Love the wines.

Everything you think Opus One should be. Nice fire in Salon on arrival. Great tour of facility. Fantastic wine in the barrel room. Ended with a nice view on the terrace overlooking the vineyard.
