Great local winery located half way up the valley. They have two tasting rooms, one for their regular bottlings and the other is the "reserve room". Turnbull Winery is right on Highway 29, just north of the Oakville Grocery (currently being remodeled!). Beautiful grounds and buildings. The tasting room staff was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. Wines were fabulous. Would definitely recommend the experience.

A friend of mine used to work here, so I went to taste some of their wines. Everything I tasted was wonderful. It's a very small little tasting room-very intimate.

Unfortunately we couldn't find any wine here that we liked, the grounds were nice to walk around though. The tasting fee was rather high at $15 and it didn't help that the man pouring our tasting was rather pretentious and rude.

I like to rank wineries of the Napa Valley after I visit them, and my rating system has five stars for the top ratingings of taste, location and personality.
