Very nice little place that had a lot of informative background about the area and natural things that you could see.
Small museum with a lot of local animal and bird life on display much like a very large park nature center, which was interesting for us to see. Rotating exhibits that are smallish - the one we saw was on Monarch butterflies. They ask only for a donation which is completely at your discretion. There is a very cool garden... More
It is a nice museum put together with much knowledge and love. Definitely worth a visit if you want the explore the history and nature of the area and in particular the ' miracle 'of the Monarch butterflies....
This is a small museum supported by a small town, but it is packed with interesting exhibits. Their taxidermy collection is especially impressive, all the more so because of their thoughtful explanation of the history of the art and the collection and of collecting itself. The monarch butterfly exhibit is also very informative and interactive.
This very attractive little museum is just made to entertain children, but adults will also enjoy the trip. There is a life-size whale sculpture outside that kids can climb on. There is a permanent exhibition of birds, snakes, mammals, etc that is devoted to the local species. The monarch butterfly exhibit is a must if you are going over to... More

I visited with my four year old when they had a Monarch Butterfly exhibit with all sorts of interactive butterfly things to do, wear, play with and see. The gift... More
Wonderful and easy to walk around with our kids! Love this place! My kids were able to walk around as well and we all had a great time!
