This is our second trip with elite land tours and Craig our tour guide did not disappoint. We took our kids ages 8 and 10 on the nighttime Joshua tree national park tour. They thought scorpion hunting with blue lights was the coolest thing ever!! Who knew scorpions glow in the dark under blue light. The trip was very interesting... More

We (3 friends) went out on a Friday afternoon in May. We lucked out that they had a rare cancellation and were able to book. Our guide, Craig, was a former teacher and his love of learning and exploration was very evident. He described the geology of the San Andreas Fault, took us up close to some windmills and had... We booked a last minute tour to Joshua Tree. It included the fault and wind farms. Our fabulous guide, Craig, was very knowledgeable, made the trip an exciting adventure, kept all of us involved in the journey and showed us parts of the National Park we would not otherwise have seen. There were plenty of opportunities for photos (he would... More

We have toured all over during our travels and I have to say that this was definitely one of the best and will stand out in our travel memories. We did the Joshua Tree tour that also included the fault and the wind farm. We met our guide (and the owner who was very nice) at their clean and well... More

Craig was a fountain of information about the valley, mountains, windmills and local and native history and that was before our tour got started. Out in the desert he demonstrated a vast knowledge of the plants, wildlife and fault topography as he expertly navigated the San Andreas Fault and washouts in the Hummer, getting us up close and personal with... Myself, my wife, and her two friends recently went on the Joshua Tree/Fault/Wind Farm Tour (it was the first one listed on their website) and had a great experience. Our guide was chockful of information and kept us entertained the entire time. All of the stops were interesting and we even made a few extra stops for photos. The hotel... More

Just took our 2nd tour with Elite Land Tours during the kids' spring break. (Our previous tour was the night time "scorpion hunt" tour a couple of years ago). I had with me a bunch of 4th and 5th graders, as well as one 7th grader. They all loved it. Both Craig and Bruce were excellent guides and complimented each... More

We took the windmill tour with Craig. Despite the less than windy conditions, Craig entertained and educated us. There is much to discover about the windmills. He also helped to show how the desert is not only beautiful but also a fragile ecosystem. As a bonus, we saw a road runner! Also, the snacks were delicious. We would definitely recommend... More

Just returned from the Desert Sampler Tour with our guide Craig. Absolutley fascinating! This was a great tour that covered the history, flora, fauna, geology and archeology of the desert. Craig was the most knowledgable guide I've ever had on any tour I've ever been on. This guy knows everything! It got to the point where we were playing "stump-the-chump",... More

Took the San Andreas Fault tour with Bruce and it was great. Lots of information about the local geology, plant and animal life. Beautiful views of the Salton Sea and up close results of past earthquakes. Bruce won't overwhelm you with too much detail unless you indicate an interest. Great vehicle, snacks and guide. Well worth the price.
