Look for white pelicans and all kinds of ducks and water fowl year round. Walked here with my kids for years teaching them about the outdoors!

It's a peaceful escape, but nothing super special about this unless you grew up in a concrete jungle.

Nice trails, great place for a walk and to see some rare marsh birds.

This location is not far from my daughter's school. It is a beautiful place to walk, hike or bicycle. There are usually people out walking with their dogs as well.

This and nearby Shoreline Park are the most accessible and best birding on SF Bay. Thousands of shore and water birds rest here from August through May.

We have taken many walks through the Baylands. A very peaceful place to enjoy nature. Sometimes a bit cold and windy, but it is outdoors? We prefer the early morning or sundown times, they seem to be least crowded times.
