Very pretty location, the wine was decent, not the best ever, but drinkable.

Everything about this place is like a poor imitation of a Disneyworld scene. The "moat" is filled with water dyed a silly aqua color, which alone is enough to indicate the low standards and poor taste to come. And then there's the cutout thing where you stick your heads through the holes to get your photo taken wearing a medieval...

This is a newer winery, but is already making elegant wines. We especially enjoy their reds, although the whites are good also. The castle is small and modern, but with beautiful old-world finishes which remind one of Europe. The setting is nice, with pretty views. When there is a festival going on, they often have costumed staff, musicians and tasting...

Sure the castle is corny, but I'm so glad we went. The food was excellent, all three main course dishes in gourmet class; the aji tuna on think buckwheat noodles was one of the best dishes I've ever had, and the chef was kind enough to give me the recipe. The dining room too was a treat. The white wines...

We visited Eagle castle this past weekend. We ate lunch here, the bread was tasty, as was the Calamari; then came lunch. There were four in our group all but one of us could not even eat our food. 2 of us had the Soft shell crab poor boy sandwhich, which had crunchy fingernail like pieces in it. They tried...

So, worth stopping just to see the ridiculous castle, but the wines are not very good.
We stopped here on our way from Hearst Castle to Highway 101, drawn by the stunning castle facade. We thought it looked a little Disney-ish but it is quite lovely. The view from the terrace across the road to the hills is amazing and reminded us a lot of France. We were there on a Thursday and it was pretty...

This is one of the more polished wineries in Paso, which tends to have charming, more rustic wine tasting rooms located in older farmhouses. The winery is uniquely designed to look like a tudor castle, moat included. I enjoyed my visit here- the red wines are quite good and the staff is friendly. Lunch is excellent. Highly recommend.
We stopped by here during the Harvest Wine weekend activities this past Sat. There were lots of activities going here including a cratfs fair, belly dancers, lunch in the Crown Room and wine tasting. The winery mocks a Scotland castle complete with a moat and drawbridge. This is one of the newer wineries in the area, located next to Grey...
