I like Redding Waterworks Park. It has a lot of different slides, for toddlers through thrill seaking teens and adults! The toddler pool is covered with that slick, thick rubber that is sort of cushy. Parents can sit in low sand chairs on the side of the little pool which is only inches deep. Toddlers can climb up the small... More

My family has had a bad experience here, which is hard to forget. Maybe things have changed since...hopefully. Too many kids that DON'T use the bathroom..hint, hint. Actually saw an employee scoop a TURD out of the water w/a net.?.....last time I ever went here...just saying'

Its a small water park, but the kids have a great time. The rides are fun. My only gripe is that after you pay I think it was $30 a day per person for all day, you then have to pay an additional fee for the tubes to ride in the various water rides. If your tube gets taken by... More

This place needs an overhaul--they've got the space with 2+ acres of unecessary parking space. The attractions are jammed together, when weather is good, there are long lines to get on a ride. You just feel schmushed in. If you are hungry, there are more outrageous prices, more long lines, and ineffective staffing for food prep to serve the number... More

These places are all pretty much the same. There is nothing special about it, except that there is nothing else to compete with nearby. It's populated largely by teens too young to drive, and little kids accompanied by divorced moms and dads. You just KNOW what those little kids are doing in the water... Perhaps its biggest claim to fame... More

Nothing ever seems to change with this place, except maybe the prices getting higher. Yes, it's great entertainment for a day, but not much more than that. A single day is too expensive, and the passes are best for kids that are old enough to attend alone. The ladder leading up to the Avalanche hangs over the swimming pool, and... More

We were here with a birthday party - the kids ranged from 5-13, but mostly 9 yr old boys. Everyone really had fun. The lazy lagoon kept us cool & was relaxing. The water slides were fast & fun. For a Saturday in August, I expected longer lines. The signage could be better. They have rules about which tubes can... More

I bought season passes this year for my family instead of at Redding Aquatic Center, which I will never make that mistake again! I have a preschooler and an infant. My first experience was that they said my baby was free, however if I wanted to by pass the line I had to buy a $10 pass for him for... More
