I was very excited to find out that Riverside had two drive-in theaters still in operation. I just went to the Van Buren and was not disappointed. It seems that the theater has had some remodeling and fresh paint in the past year. The price is now $7 for a double feature- still cheaper than seeing one movie in a... more

Keep it alive, go see a movie. For $5.00 an adult, and almost nothing for kids, you can pack up the family wagon and go see a movie. Don’t worry about having alot of money. You can pack up the snacks and the beverages, and take some beach chairs, or pillows for the kids, hopefully. a good movie and a... more

I think the drive-in is great. I have 5 kids and only one is a freebie, We grab a pizza, some beer and drinks, and a lot of candy, I don;t have to worry about any cells phones ringing or rude people talking next to me like at the theatre. My kids enjoy and we are all happy. I don't... more

The Van Buren drive-in has been in Riverside for decades. Unfortunately, the owner was trying to sell the property to a house developer and the city residents said no we want a Costco(and we still do). The drive-in is still there, but it won't be updated, unless you count a wrecking crane and a backhoe as an improvementin the not... more

CHEERS There's no disputing that $6.00 for TWO features is a GREAT DEAL !! I, myself, stopped going to the walk-ins many years ago because I would gripe about the cost of a ticket, food, dealing with other peoples annoyances, the air conditioning. Now I have the comfort of my truck with my kids and plenty of pillows. So I... more

Priced at 6.00 per adult and children 9 years and under are free. For 12.00 a family of four can see two movies (kids under 9 of course) and you can't beat that price. We don't usually visit the snack bar since we take our own drinks and snacks. When the kids get tired they fall asleep and we can... more

Good deal on 2 movies, but you get what you pay for, of course. Picture is not bright enough (you can barely see night scenes) and sound is not like the walk in. Snackbar is dingy. Stay in your car and enjoy the convience and privacy. more

I have been going here for years -- 5 bucks per person (young kids get in free, not sure the age limit, you have to check that yourself)-- usually two great movies with the same theme ie... two action adventure -- two horror -- two comedys etc.. THERE ARE THREE SCREENS at this drive in -- so you have a... more
