At $5 for a taste of six wines, plus a full deli of cheese, meats, sandwiches, salads etc, this is a great place to get a taste and a bite to eat before the rest of Napa. We bought a hunk of Gouda plus lunch and had a small picnic. There is a long list of wines to taste, and... more

I am sad to write this review. We have been Cellar Club members for years at V. Sattui. We were so happy when they achieved commercial and critical success. However, I think they have just gotten too big for us. Usually, when we went to the Cellar Tasting Room (for members), it was pretty quiet and intimate. We were greeted... more

To start, beautiful grounds with huge outdoor area to enjoy food, wine, or just plain relaxing. Have never had their wines as they don't sell it in NY, but the wines were great and our server was generous with her pours. more

I will never return to V. Sattui. The "gentleman" serving the wine was incredibly rude and patronizing. I don't claim to be a wine expert, but my friend worked in the wine industry in both Washington and Napa Valley all her life. My friend was driving that day and opted not to drink all wines offered. When she decided to... more

We visited V Sattui for the second time in May of 08. (First time being in June 05). We weren't planning on visiting here this trip as we had already "seen that" but after being disappointed at two other highly recommended wineries we decided to return. This is by far our favorite in Napa Valley. The wines are great and... more

I went to Napa this past weekend and my experience was almost ruined by a horrible tasting experience at V Sattui. The server for our $5 wine tasting was unbelievably rude. He could tell that we were not big wine drinkers and treated us accordingly. He brushed us off for as long as he could, and didn't even bother mentioning... more

My husband and I spent an afternoon at V. Sattui winery a couple of days ago. What a nice change from some of the other wineries (not that they were bad, just different). V. Sattui doesn't offer guided tours (although I read somewhere that you can take a self-guided one), and tastings are at the counter in the gift shop.... more

I have been visiting V. Sattui winery for years and have always highly referred this winery to friends and other visitors because they have good wine, a great picnic area and the tastings used to be complimentary. We always end up spending $100 or more anyway on food (from the deli) and wine that we consume and take home. I... more

Nothing else like it in the Napa Valley! Good wine, deli, picnic area, a little store catering to the wine crowd, it's all here. On my first trip through the valley, Sattui Winery caught my attention. Plenty of parking space and the picnic area pulled me in like a magnet. Just had to get a few items from the deli... more

Beautiful Winery, Great Gourment Shop, Excellent Wines! We never had a bad tasting wine at V. Sattui Winery, it's family owned and they never mass market their wines which we love. We are wine club members since 05 and look forward to drinking their wines every chance we get, the have a huge verity! these wines are great if your... more
