Today, as HALL, a redesigned visitor center and tasting room welcome visitors with warmth and elegance. Guests to the winery can sample the portfolio of HALL wines, relax in arbor-covered courtyards, and take in the original works of modern art and sculptures from the Halls' personal collection. The winery is located just south of the town of St. Helena on Route 29 and is open daily from 10 am until 5:30 pm for public visits, tastings and tours. « less

Nice stop in St Helena with both good wines and nice art in the garden. The shop has high quality merchandises.

A very surprising experience, a winery to visit just for the art works. This is a must do. An absolute must do. I've never visited such a fabulously glamorous winery. What an experience!

Make sure to stop at Hall during a wine country tour. Their "only found at the winery" selections are great. This is not an inexpensive place to purchase good wine, but the people and the product are wonderful.

Great wines at this place.......especially Cabernets. Great glasses to taste with, which I really appreciate. The staff is very cordial, and the room is very nice, with a nice patio area. It's really a must stop when tasting around Napa!

We are members of the club and didn't like the early vintages much but Hall has been coming on. When we stooped in we were treated royally and got the tasting fee waived and had the Ellie and "Berg" both were so good we bought 6 more bottles. Nice stop on 29.

I love the Ellie's, just tasted it last week myself -- blended from mountain cabernet vineyards. Thank you for your support! More

Expensive tasting average offerings. Modern art pieces, including some creepy statues in the picnic area, are interesting but do not necessarily add to the experience. While not their fault, the winery is usually very crowded. My visit here was the first time I have seen babies not only brought into a winery, but fed at the tasting tables. This winery is... More

Our Sommelier went out of his way to make our tasting experience fun and informative. The wines were amazing and not out of this world expensive. There is a picnic area but its mostly used for tasting/cheese pairings done through the winery.
