a lot of rocks on the beach. but the water is very shallow, pretty far out! It was about 4.5 feet deep a hundred yards out. awesome!
Don't underestimate those waves as my Hamstring went on the first wave. The current can be strong The townsfolk are a very proud folk and keep the beach area spick and span.
I have camping here since the late 50's just as good as it was back then!! great place to go if you like the beach!!!
GREAT. More for walks, not many places to swim. Beautiful beach, downtown only a mile from. Friendly people and beautiful views.
only negative: parking- it totally sucks and if you can't find a spot or don't pay and get a ticket those suckers are expensive other than that AMAZING spot. great for bikers, runners, walkers, tanners, relaxers, any and everything really.
