“National Landmark: The 1st Motel in the World”

This WAS a fabulous place in its day...its all but been razed and all us local/natives would LOVE to see it restored back to its original splendor. Had the very BEST BBQ steaks in the world with an inside oak BBQ. If someone had a extra million or two, this place would be a real draw for tourists and locals... More

can't wait for the upgrades, it was one of the best places to go for food & enteranment

I think what you are referring to is actually the Motel Inn. Yes, it was the first Motel, unfortunatly went out of business many years ago. What little remains is only there because it was designated a historical site. If you go to John Ramos Gallery on the web you can see his rendition of what it looked like "way... More
