Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After looking for a local apple farm, we could Gopher Glen. It is a bit of drive out from 101 but well worth it as there are lots of farm and winery along the way. The prices is decent as you are supporting local business and getting the freshest products. We got the fresh cider, eggs and Cal Poly cheese. They will also mix and match apples for you by the pound. It is a quint small family farm.

Welcome to gopher Glen. A wonderful stop out on see Canyon. And I just love driving see Canyon, especially when it's Apple time. Now when you get to gopher Glen, you'll find a what looks like a well, maybe a shack, but inside you will find a wonderful collection have more things than you ever wanted. I mean they have all the apples in the pears and peaches and whatever is in season. And those may not all be in season at the same time, so I guess you're going to have to make multiple trips. But then they can and pickle and make things available to help dress up the rest of the meal. The selection of pickled items is wonderful, the selection of canned items oh, well I guess there really in jars, is excellent. Then there's all the jams. Wouldn't want your toes to be without a beautiful Jam. Then there's candles, a whole bunch of different ones are those, then there's even more goodies in the little refrigerators that have to do with apple juice and apple cider and hard cider, and then there's a impulse purchase stuff right on the counter, and then there's all those other Knick knacky things, which I'm not even going to list you're just going to have to go out there and shop for yourself. The people are nice, I mean real nice, I mean real helpful, and I liked it. Enjoy the drive it's worthwhile anytime, and know that you can go from the Avila side all the way into San Luis there is a little bit of dirt road in the middle but I love that road.

Have been coming here for manym years. Seasonal chices rotate, usually 6-8 choices to,sample free. That's included in the price of apples, you purchase. What market would, let you do that?
However, I don't believe they grow all varieties offered. But no matter, you get to sample all
Pretty drive through tree shaded glen, which is a box canyon. Watch for other cyclist and motorist.

When apples are in season, this is the place to fill your pie hole. You get to sample them all from the sweet to the tart to the perfect for apple pie. You can't go away without a jug of their fresh pressed apple cider for the road.

While this is a handy stop as you head up to the dirt road part of See Canyon Rd which continues all the way up the beautiful way that does up the mountain & then back down close to SLO's only Costco, it is nothin special. While they do have some local produce, it is pricey & tourist oriented. It has nothin on the local Farmer's Markets or even pricey Avila Barn.
They do have honey sticks for the youngsters & you can also buy some of the local
alcoholic Apple cider.
They are seasonal & are closed in the winter.

The road to Farm is beautiful, it is a See Canyon, narrow turns. Loved the Farm, or I just love the time when apples are in season. There are peaches, tomatoes, apples, apple vine and cider, other fruits and vegetables and everything looks so yummy.

Take a leisurely, scenic drive through oak studded hillsides to enjoy tasting fresh fruits and harvests of delicious produce to take home. Peaches, nectarines, pears, apples, cider; if it's fresh and delicious, you've arrived! Fall colors and scents make this a lovely getaway, day trip!!

This little gem in an actual apple orchard is really a throw back to another time, when life was simpler and easy. Over 30 varieties of apples - be sure to do an apple tasting to find the ones you like best for eating or baking. So many good things here - fresh organic produce in season, honey, canned goods, books, APPLE CIDER (hard and not) and such pleasant knowlegable staff. You can't get apples fresher than this.
