I visited the farmer's market Friday, April 6th. It wasn't my first time but is always a good time! The evening started out windy and surprisingly cold. We were fortunate to be in town on a Thursday, the only night of the week that this sort of street fair happens. Great fun to walk several blocks that are losed to traffic. This Farmer's Market is where you go to see everyone you know. There are fruit and vegetable vendors, as well as crafts, food, musicians, puppet shows; all in the middle of Higuera Street. SLO is easily in my top 5 of favorite cities and their weekly Farmer's Market is another reason why. Random Thursday in November and the street was packed with vendors and people with a great atmosphere.

We were staying at the Madonna Inn for one night and headed down to the farmers market and had a great time. There was a great village feel and heaps of college students around having a good time.

Have only been able to attend this once, as we're often not in town on Thursdays, and it was phenomenal! Everything a Farmer's Market should be. My only complaint is we got there too late to fully enjoy the experience. Go early and stay late!
