If you appreciate history then this is worth the stop. The grounds are beautiful and the church is still an active parish. For five bucks you get a little glimpse of California history. more
Beautiful historic site with fascinating exhibits in the museum and it shows California's old history. It's definately worth a visit if you are in Santa Barbara more

Mission Santa Barbara is breathtaking. It is VERY crowded, so pictures can be a problem if you don't want strangers in them! The garden in the center, where the fountain is was a little underwatered, and the grass was browing, which to me seemed odd. But nevertheless it was lovely. The Cemetary is a spectacle to behold!
