You'll find plenty to see here at the Santa Barbara botanic garden. I especially love the part with the tall trees providing ample shade to relax. They also have a little store where I've bought yerba buena, lavender and oregano. more

Unlike most botanical gardens, you can enjoy your walk accompanied by your leashed dog. I was alone and it was so nice to see the beauty, get the exercise, and share it with Bucky! more

My husband and I took our 12 year old son during a weekend stay. It was enjoyable and interesting for all of us. Lots of trails, interesting botanical species, and very peaceful. If you love natural beauty, this is a superb way to spend a lovely afternoon with almost anyone. more
