Being on a cruise, we had only one day and one time slot to go on this tour. We called and scheduled 3 months in advance. Two days before our arrival, they called our HOME and cancelled the one tour time for our day in their port. Very disappointed with their lack of customer service. Had heard great things about... We did see 2,000+ Dolphins though which more than made up for it. It is great that the guides on this trip are both knowledgeable and predominantly local. They do communicate a concern for the environment and the wildlife. There seems to be a genuine attempt to both improve the quality of the Channel Islands Environment and the seas around... More

It started off great and what seemed to be a beautiful morning was a rough time at see, im sure under the right conditions it would have been great! But I rated this so low because the captain should have canceled the trip. They knew it was going to be "extremely" rough and they still took us out -- not... More

We wanted to go see whales while in Santa Barbara and found the Condor Express. It was a great day where we saw a couple pods of dolphin as well as 5 whales. We didn't get to be close to the whales, but the captain was great about getting as close as we could without being obtrusive to the whales.... More

Never use Condor express tours! We had made a reservation with them back in Singapore and even got a confirmation number via email. The staff name is Meg. But the trip was cancelled and no one informed us. According this guy, Elijah, at the Sea Landing office, the boat was under maintenance and this was known 2 weeks ago from... More

My husband and I went on August 18th and did not see a single whale. We did get to see offshore bottlenose dolphins, which they said was very rare. We were given a whale check and went back on August 20th. We were staying 2 hours away, and were hesitant to spend a second full day of our vacation looking... More

We went whale watching with Condor cruises during our stay in Santa Barbara and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! We saw hump back whales, a blue whale with her calf, and loads of dolphins and all really close up. It was an amazing trip which we will remember for ever! We would definitely recommend this trip!

Yes, people do get seasick on these cruises. They are four hours. We had originally booked for a Wednesday but the sea was too rough so they rescheduled us for Thursday and the seas were still a little rough. Take some over the counter motion sickness medicine--I took 1/2 dose and I was fine. The Condor Captain was very good... More

My husband and I went out on our anniversary to see the whales. As we are scuba divers, we love ocean life and have never been out whale watching. The main thing we wanted to see were the Blue Whales, and boy did we get to see them! I think we saw a total of maybe 7-8, but the most... More

just saw some of the other reviews and noticed that many folks are not doing their homework beforehand or common sense.....if you haven't been on a boat in the ocean before ....TAKE sea sickness precautions BEFORE you get on the boat.! It is too late once the boat sails! If you feel sick....go on deck and breathe in the fresh... More
