They really have a lot of interactive things for people to do, especially the kids. Loved the shark pods and baby sharks..very interesting and the staff knows what they are talking about. The sea bucket that pulls up the sand under the wharf was a nice touch, too. Tide pools and tanks were clean and very educational... thank you!

Located on the water's edge of the Santa Barbara Harbor, the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum contains exciting & educational exhibits set inside of nearly 8,000 square feet of Museum space.The Maritime Museum also offers a wide range of educational programs including docent tours, and Tall Ship tours. Admission also includes a series of films shown daily in our large screen, high-definition Munger Theater. Fun for the whole family!

Interesting museum, small, but the docent was helpful and made the exhibits come to life! Worth a is it if you have not been to many maritime museums.

The people who present this museum really have gone above and beyond with this museum. It represents the true history of Santa Barbara. Worth seeing over and over.
