I fell in love with Rancho San Marcos and it is now my favorite golf course in California. Everything was perfect (with the exception of my golf game). “Beautiful and off the beaten path”

There is something to say about a golf course surrounded by untouched land. This course was gorgeous and seemed to fit right into its surroundings. Off the 154 and in bewtween Santa Barbara and Los Olivos. I golf only with my bf, but he is an avid golfer and he loves this course.

“Should've left the land to the wildlife”

Hard to get to, not well-maintained. And why serve alcohol when the drivers then set out on one of the most dangerous roads in all of California, Hwy 154? Should've left the land to the deer and oak trees.

If you look up golf in SB, everyone will tell you to play SB Golf Club or Sandpiper.....do, they are great...BUT Rancho San Marcos Golf Club is better. About 20 mins out of SB on the 154, this place seems to realise that it has to work that bit harder to attract people away from it's better known sister course,... More
