Nothing....I plan to go back. The Sav Blanc was the best I have ever had. Great picnic area.

Our friend was just married at Gainey. The location is spectacular, and the outdoor setup for the reception was perfect, with a dance floor in the center. The food was quite good, and the wines were fine. Highly recommended.

We loved the tasting with jim. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We then took a behind the scenes tour. I think her name was janicka. Anyway she looked like she just rolled out of bed and smoked pot. Her thoughts and tour were not fluent and very little was learned. I m glad that someone had paid for our... More

Gainey Winery is one of our favorites. we have been club members for several years and always enjoy the grounds, wine and knowledgable people. We enjoy picnicing on the grounds. They are very accommodating.

To learn about the vineyard and how wine is made and why is costs so much, take the Gainey tour. I just don't care for their wine.

Good place to try out wines and pic-op. I liked the Jeep tour to this place, seeing a different view with this tour. The staff (I encountered) for the wine tasting and the check-out staff were not so friendly. It was good after all...cannot be so bad of a day when you are on a wine-tasting event.

We have visited many of the Santa Ynez wineries but none were better than Gainey Vineyard. Gainey had the best combination of great wine, nice tasting room, ambiance and scenic views. At Gainey you won't be disturbed by the sound of passing cars on the highway, or the giant parking lot obstructing the views. This is a must-visit if staying... More

A great winery. We went during a low season, March, which was great. We really like the Chardonnay and their tasting room is top notch. Very friendly and well organized. Crowed: Fess Parker Gainey Firestone Less crowded but great wineries: Rusack Curtis Foxen (northern location: old blacksmith shop)

On the wine tourist trail list; gets very crowded as groups come in Has very nice facility for large groups Efficient wine barista Most of the wines were underwhelming, but liked a Reisling that has a nice apricot taste Cool ovular wine barrels $10 per person tasting fee
