These miniature horses are absolutely adorable. When we visited there were 16 babies. The mares are small but the babies are tiny and so cute! If you love animals and especially horses, you've got to take about 30 minutes if you're in the area and visit Quicksilver Ranch.
The grounds are beautiful with large fenced pastures for the horses to...

When one of the wine cellar workers told us about "dog" size baby ponies, my boyfriend and I said we HAD to see them! The mini ponies had just had babies and the babies we smaller than my Labrador mix! Funny looking ponies, def intertwining for kids if u have them. Other than that, it's just a quick stop and...

Stop along the road and see these amazing creatures. If the caretakers are there they will talk to you about them. Kids love it.
Fun to watch the mini horses romp around. Of the 60 horses, 23 were pregnant when we where there. Interesting, and FREE. But it is just a walk through. There really isn't anyone around to talk to or get info from. These are really not pets, but very small horses. So, you probably can't take one home!
Thrill yourself and the children with a close-up and personal visit to the miniature horses at Quicksilver. You can walk through their barn with the low stall walls and little wash racks. It's especially fun in the spring when foaling has begun, and the grassy paddocks are frolicking with even littler horses.
Yep, the horses are small. Yep, they're adorable. It's a fun stop to make! Just know that you only get to look, not touch or ride.
Nice place to visit. Cute miniature horses. No babies at the time. Nice for families with kids to see the little horses. A 15 minute visit~
Your on your own at this place. It's free but we didnt see a single person and could barely see the horses.
There was no one there when we stopped by on a Tuesday morning. You can stroll through the barn, noticing the small, neat-as-a-pin stalls with mangers just 14 inches off the floor. All of the horses were outside in different paddocks. They came to us as soon as we showed up out of curiousity (looking for a hand-out?). The main...
