Viansa is slightly off the beaten path as it is in Sonoma vs Napa. It is a beautifully architected Italian-styled winery and vineyard. Upon arriving you enter a courtyard with sculptures and breathtaking gardens. Walk up to the winery and the view is magnificent. The patio overlooks the vineyard and is lined with olive trees. The wines they serve are... More

This was our first stop when we arrived in Sonoma from the airport. The gardens were beautiful and the view from the terrace was exceptional. Staff was friendly and welcoming and found us a place at the bar. They had great wine which we bought for our first night in our rental home. They also have some great flavored olive... More

Yes, Viansa is big and touristy, but wine is very good, neat gift shop, lovely views from the huge patio, great first stop on a Sonoma Valley tour. Only complaint would be extremely pushy on wine club, big turn off, anytime I get pushed that hard to buy into anything I will run the other way. They need to tell... More

Doesn't stand out - just going through the motions. Nothing special and certainly wouldn't go back.

This was one of our favorite stops. It was nice that they sold a antipasti plate that we could take over to the wine bar. With our Visa Signature card the tasting for two was free. Can’t beat that!

First, this isn't the tour of wine making, Viansa is a well run commercial enterprise at a fantastic location. Viansa is a good place to sample a number of wines, some of which are good and some which were truly excellent. As one of the first vineyards on the Sonoma turn-off, Viansa is a terrific place to start and take... More

This is a sort of lead-in on your way into the heart of Wine Country, whether Sonoma Valley, or Napa Valley. Nicely constructed to give a Tuscany sort of feel and good place for food, snacks and gifts.

Really good wines and stunning views. Beautiful olive trees in the courtyard and they also do tasters of olives and different condiments.

Lovely vineyard and grounds. Average wines but somewhat pricey. They also charge for tasting. Can get crowded in the summer.
