The Hart Winery has a tiny tasting room overlooking beautiful vineyards and hills in Temecula. For $5 you can taste five wines, or for $10 you can taste any five (including those on the Reserve list). I'm a big fan of Viognier, and was excited to see a 2006 Viognier on their tasting list that sells for $14.00/bottle. Unfortunately, the... more

We stayed at South Coast(6) and tried the following other wineries: Falkner(7), Leonesse(5), Thornton(3), Wilson Creek(4), Hart(1), Ponte(1) and Maurice Car'rie. We generally enjoyed the wines at all of the wineries. However, we found Hart to be our favorite. There was something very distinctive about the quality of most of their wines.
