good wines. They have opened a restaurant and the menu looks good but I have not tried it. Friendly staff most of the time. Kind of a long walk from parking.

This winery has beautiful grounds. Very well manicured gardens, charming statues and lots of outside seating. I can see why people would want to get married there. It is beautiful. We only had the Cabernet Sauvignon so I can't attest to their wine selection but we enjoyed the wine we tried.

My daughter just got married at this venue and the wedding was magical. The staff was excellent and helped in any way they could. The views from the wedding area are spectacular. Both the wedding and reception areas are enough removed from the wine-tasting guests to keep everything very private for bride, groom, and guests. The food was wonderful, too.... More

This was our first visit to Mt Palomar (group of 6). A very scenic place to have lunch. Shorty's Bistro has great attentive waiters. Garrett recommended the best wines to go with lunch. Our food were freshly made. Very impressive. Will be back soon.

My husband and I recently visited Mount Palomar Winery and thoroughly enjoyed it! We are novice wine drinkers at best but Sandy, our hostess for the wine tasting, made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. She has a delightful smile and sense of humor. We were there on a rainy day in the middle of the week so it wasn't... More

This is our favorite winery in Temecula. The wine is good and relatively inexpensive, and the grounds are incredible. Lots of room to stretch out, and they usually have 2 to 3 different wine tasting areas. There is not an ounce of pretension in this place, which you sometimes get at some of the newer, larger wineries in town. Whenever... More

Pro's: Probably the nicest outdoor setting of all the local wineries Large enough to take plenty of visitors, but small enough to still have a cosy atmosphere Friendly staff and knowledgeable servers (absolutely lurve Dave!) Not so much of a "cattle-market" as the larger wineries Con's: No really outstandingly special wine to write home about
