I experienced HOB Friday, 8-29 for the first time. The show was Which Ones Pink (tribute to Pink Floyd) and Led Zepagain (tribute to Led Zep). These two bands rawked the house. I had a great time watching my favorite hip hop artist however, I had a problem with one of their bartenders. Not only was he rude but he gave himself a bigger tip than i orginally put. (I saw it on my bank statement) Just make sure you take both reciepts when you buy something at the bar. Totally unprofessional. more
We three sisters planned a fun night out at the House of Blues Sunset Strip for our hip, fun-loving, 70-year-old mother and two 16-year-old children last week on our vacation to Beverly Hills. I love this place, have met some quite interesting people here. I have sat in the down stairs and upstairs bars for the VIP. The upstairs one moves from one side of the room to the other. We almost missed this due to traffic. So glad we made it. Room was really dark when we entered, so if you have trouble seeing in the dark, give your eyes time to adjust, as there are many sets of small stairs. Seating turned me off as it was very crammed and on small wooden chairs. Much like a Vegas... more
