Pictures do not describe the awesome beauty of this area. The Royal Gorge Bridge is around 100 years old and is something to experience. We spent the good part of a day there, so many things to see and do. Our two 13 yr old grandchildren went with us and loved it also. more

The bridge offers an awesome view, and you get great photos. We didn't spend much time in the park, so I can't speak about that. If you get panic attacks or are afraid of heights, you might not want to go on the bridge. But it's pretty cool. Good souvenir shop! more

Really loved walking across the bridge/gorge. The bridge sways in the wind and it was Windy! You can also see through the gaps between the wooden planks of the roadbed of the bridge. Eeekkk! As far as scarey bridges go, this ranks at the top! Unlike the others mentioned here, you can either walk across or drive across this swinging, wooden-planked monster...and there is nothing beneath you and your car except a 1000+ feet of air. Only problem is the cost...far too expensive any more. Greed is a ugly thing. more

The rafting on the Royal Gorge is the best attraction there. The bridge can be seen from the river as you float underneath. Depending on the time of year, it is not for the faint of heart (I am 2 for 2~ getting thrown out); but what a blast! Teens & up would love this thrill; definately worth the guide... more

The good- the bridge, the cog rail down the side of the gorge, buckskin frontier town, the sad petting zoo, and the info movie are all included in your overpriced admission fee.
