Drove through for a quick visit. Would like to get to see a football game there sometime. The stadium backdrop is the mountains. Looks like the Academy was just thrown right in there. more
My husband and I went to tour the USAFA. He is a 1998 graduate of the Academy. The place was absolutley beautiful. You have the mountains in the distance. The beautiful Cadet Chapel. The Cadet Chapel at the US Air Force Academy is beautiful! It's an A-frame metal church with beautiful stain glass and huge pipe organ. It's so gorgeous - it's hard to describe in words. USAFA is one of the most beautiful university campuses of the service academies. I was very impressed! more
