As a resident of Colorado Springs we are spoiled to see it everyday but if you are here as a tourist DON'T miss Garden of the Gods. We live in Denver and make the short trip down to Garden of the Gods at least once a month. It is an easy drive when you just want to get away for the day. My kids love coming here and always ask when we are coming again! The museum is interactive and fun- it takes about 1/2 an hour... more

The rock formations were beautiful and it was very pleasant to walk around there. It it open until 11 pm so it was convenient to visit in the late afternoon/evening when other attractions are closing. We found the maps a bit confusing. more

Being from the mostly flat ground of IL. , my family enjoyed seeing all the rock formations. There was rock climbers while we was there and they were neat to watch.
