As the mother of a 6 year old boy, I absolutely love Bear Creek Nature Center! The center itself is small, but has been a great teaching aid for my son and the employee's always go out of their way to help answer questions or inform us of any upcoming events/classes we may be interested in. We enjoyed our visit to the Bear Creek Nature Center. The Center is small but the exhibits are neat! Especially the huge bee hive with live bees! And where you can measure yourself against the wall to compare your "wingspan" to that of birds. I was a goose! Outside are very pleasant walking trails with lots of birds and squirrels.... more
