My wife and I wandered into the studio because of the unusual "street people" sculptures in the window. Many sculptures were very reasonably priced, although the complex building and bar sculptures are a bit pricey. Remember, however, that this is art, not mass produced junk from China. Michael Garman's intricate model of an American city (circa 1955) is known as "Michael Garman's Magic Town" on its official brochure. The diorama is a gritty depiction of urban streets. We went here in March because it was snowing and the weather was too bad to do anything outside and we really wanted to do something on Spring Break. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gone. When you walk in, it's a store selling very expensive statue sculptures. We went to see "Magic Town" an area in the back of the store... more
