There is a special section for kids rides, the 6 and under crowd. Old county fair-type rides, except for the little ones. Awesome. Nothing is in tip-top shape here, the whole place could use a new coat of paint and you sort of hold your breath at times hoping things have been inspected for safety recently. But in general fantastic,... More

While Lakeside is definitely OLD, it is still fun to visit on a hot summer evening. Take the kids and let them enjoy all the kiddieland rides; the Cyclone roller coaster is one of the last wooden coasters in the US and rated at the top. Lots of trees provide shade to keep you cool and a ride around Lake... More

This place was a great way to spend a day with the kids. If you are looking for a major theme park type of experience....go somewhere else, but for carnival style fun at good prices this is the place to go. As I said the rides here are more along the lines of traveling carnival. The exception of course is... More

Old school neon lights, short lines, decent prices, no crowds, tons of trees, bring a picnic! I have very fond memories of this place and the twins are starting to form their own. Like Elitches back on Tennyson. No fancy loopdy-loop rides, but tons of fun for everyone! Go Wild Chipmunk!

This place is really old and rundown. The prices are ok. I would choose somewhere else if you are coming to the denver area for a trip.

Check it out before its gone. Take a step back in time to art deco signs, popcorn and unsafe rides. Kitsch and charming.

The rides here are old and don't seam safe. IT's ok for the price but I would not recommend.

First, it doesn't feel safe. Second, the place was not kept clean, over-flowing trash cans etc. I sure wish it would get better but no luck so far.

Growing up, we loved going to Lakeside as it was less expensive than Elitches and the "Fun House" was a hoot for kids! But now it is run down, dirty, and seems to be poorly managed. Seems like it is just a matter of time before it gets shut down. The younger kids will find some amusement here, but don't... More

I've lived here all my life and Lakeside was once a fun place, especially the fun house. Now it's so rundown and depressing. Trash and ghetto atmosphere.. I also miss the racing on Sunday nights that went on and it's sad to see it going back to nature. Many memories on those nights. Also it's a bit weird to get... More
