You can't pass up the opportunity to visit Lakeside. It's an absolute blast at any age with both carnival rides, art deco lighting, a classic wooden roller coaster, bumper cars, and my personal favorite, the steam train that circles the lake with amazing views. There is also a section reserved for small kids and food and drinks that take you... more

The park has been featured on the Travel Channel, and its OK, NOT the best, but OK.. Lots for the little kids to ride, (about 10 rides) The older kids and adults? You have bumper cars, the wild chipmunk, go karts, a "rockin' ferris wheel" and more. the Roller coaster, the big one is down for maintenance, they're giving it... more

I recently went to Lakeside to check it out. I hadn't been there since I was a kid. First of all, the people saying the park is a dump are wrong...maybe it was in 2005, but when I went I found it to be at least as clean as Elitches (the other major local Amusement Park). The park itself is... more

EXCELLENT VALUE: This park is a little worn around the edges, but is a diamond in the rough. They have a pretty good selection of rides, especially for the little ones. The unlimited rides pass is a great deal. Bring the grandparents, they'll just pay a nominal admission charge if they don't want to ride (or get a few "a... more

Wow was I surprised when we arrived at Lakeside. I knew it was an older amusement park, but I was expecting a nostalgic feeling not a disgusted feeling. This amusement park is more like a permanent carnival complete with rides that look like they should be illegal. Nothing in the park looks like it has been kept up; even the... more

Okay. First of all - if you are expecting a beautifull atmosphere - don't come. It is almost a dump. But, in saying that, it is a very fun place to go. There are lots of rides for all ages and tastes. The prices are fair and if you can get ahold of a coupon for an "all you can... more

Lakeside Amusement Park is a wonderful place for a family outing. The rides are classics from the 1960's to 1980's. The rides are much more fun than the concrete wonders at Six Flags. If you want to visit an amusement PARK, go to Lakeside. If you want a concrete slab with rides, go to Six Flags. The admission prices are... more

The exterior of Denver’s Lakeside Amusement Park is not impressive in the daytime. It’s a bit dusty, not far from a highway and about ten minutes north of another popular downtown Denver destination, the enormous Six Flags Elitch Gardens amusement park. But I recommend that you chance the $2 per person it costs to walk into this magical place that... more

One of the few places in Colorado that you can bring the entire family to and enjoy your day without blowing a hole in your pocket. Lakeside is a "Families" park. Good Clean Fun! more
