If you are a photographer do not plan to be welcomed here. They don't state on their site or bother to tell you until -after- you have paid the museum fee that photos are not allowed.

We enjoyed the museum - it had lots to see in this two story house. Dollhouses with much detail! Collectible toys (GI Joe, Barbie, etc), model trains, etc. We enjoyed our visit. However, my only complaint: we planned our visit on the first Sunday of the month to do the family craft for kids. We live 1 hr south so...

If you enjoy elaborate and/or antique dollhouses you will love this place. Although my tourbook warned otherwise, there is actually a ton of hands-on stuff for small children. There is something to play with in almost every room. And, there is a wonderful sunroom full of dollhouses, dolls, crayons, and other toys that enthralled my 5-year-old until closing time. Almost...
