With a new addition to the old building, the DAM is a great place to spend looking at contemporary art from all over the world in a very nice atmosphere. This is an incredible museum that was a wonderful experience. We visited our son in hot July 08 and decided to spend a couple of hours here. We had heard that its Native American Indian art collection was one of the largest and we were not disappointed. We ended up spending over 4 hours and still didn't finish seeing everything.... more

I very much enjoyed my visit to the Denver Art Museum. I especially enjoyed the large galleries displaying modern art collections. It was fascinating. The museum is split between several buildings of varying interest. One of the older buildings houses an American Indian Collection which is Ok, but the popresentation is drab and tired.
