The museum is split between several buildings of varying interest. One of the older buildings houses an American Indian Collection which is Ok, but the popresentation is drab and tired. I was awestruck in the new building. I loved the soaring angles, the disconcerting sight lines, the feeling of vertigo when descending from the top floor. From the clumsy entrance to the cheap materials inside, and to the badly laid out galleries, the new museum building is one big ugly mess. All the striving for affect leads to nowhere. - I won't be back. more
