My experience at the section of the S. Platte/Cherry Creek that runs along Speer Blvd. in downtown Denver, virtually parallel with the 16th St. Mall... is that I used to camp down there. That is correct, I used to live on the river. Under railroad bridges that spanned the creek... along side the muddy banks... and beneath a large section...
