However in the gift shop, when my 4 yr old son was looking at a $9000 model train, the staff enjoyed upsetting my son with persistant teasing (telling my son such things that his parents would buy it if we loved him ) was uncalled for. We had a wonderful visit at this museum! Our son loved the world's largest steam engine train! It was huge! The wheels were about 5' tall - huge! And a very long engine! Both kids loved the old fashioned car (model T Ford, I think) they got to sit in and "drive" and toot the horn! My husband even enjoyed... more

Excellent Museum. Many rare automobiles you won't see anywhere else. The "Big Boy" is impressive. It is the world's largest steam locomotive. They even let you climb the ladder to look into the cab. My family had a great time and we plan to go back. If you are in Denver don't miss this opportunity. more
