We just spent the day at Elitch Gardens. We found it to be a great value. You can get tickets for $25 at King Soopers. This covers admission both for the carnival rides and the water park for an entire day. We went on a Sunday in early June and we were able to walk on nearly every major ride... more

I'd rather go to lakeside...wait, well maybe not! elitchs is going down hill since it is no longer a sixflags. it was already generic for a sixflags, but now it is even worse. all of the theme decorations have been removed giving it a bland ambiance. the water park is fun and a couple of rides are fun. the food... more

First off, this is no longer a Six Flags owned park. So don't think you'll get to use your Six Flags season pass... We went in early June, and it was a pretty lousy experience. Way overpriced for what they have--this isn't exactly Disneyland! FOUR rides closed down as we stood in line for them--no real reasons were given. Everything... more

First, it's $15 to park. Then, for one adult, one 12-year-old, and one 8-year-old, even using discount coupons we got from one of the travel brochures at our hotel, it was almost $100 admission. The kids averaged one ride per hour, and the (small) 12-year-old was too tall to go on the rides that the 8-year-old could ride; the 8-year-old... more

I was hesitant to go to Elitch Gardens because my husband, who grew up in Denver, said it was just so so. (He hadn't gone since it became a Six Flags.) We bought our tickets at the King Sooper Grocery Store for $23/each. We took my in-laws (in their 70s) and our two children (2 years old and 5 years... more

We had a really fun day at Six Flags in Denver! It was overcast the day we went but it was still a fun day! There were plenty of rides even though the lines were very, very long. The only time the rides were even somewhat short was over the lunch hour when most people took breaks to eat. Due... more

Way overpriced on everything - parking, admission, and food. The whole place was ridiculous. Many of the rides were not functioning right, many things were filthy, and no one to complain to. Workers had "smiles" but were about the rudest people we've EVER had to deal with. My kids were in tears half the time, and we got so mad... more

Six Flags is a great destination for teens! Our family goes there every year. There are enough rides to keep your family entertained the whole day — stay away on holidays..it gets really crowded! Best rides are Mind Eraser, Tower of Doom and Twister Two. As parents our only issues are: the park isn't as clean as we'd like...we stay... more

Food costs are expensive. Shop around before buying. Cash registers do not charge same price for same item within park. May pay $.99 for chips in candy store, but $2.75 in the Pub. May pay $3.19 for medium drink at one stand, but $3.29 at a different stand. They get their money from you, because you are on vacation, and... more

Elitch's used to have a soul. Now it's just a big corporation with its hand in your pocket. It has some fun rides if you don't mind waiting an hour or so in line. The first shock is when you pull into the parking lot and see the $9.00 parking fee. The next fun part is when you enter and... more
