This museum does not have it's own collection- exhibits change over time. We got to see the exhibit "More American Photographs" that had 100 works from the Farm Services 1930’s and 1940’s program to document the Great Depression’s effects on America’s landscape and people, There was also a Punk Rock exhibit, and and exhibit called "Guarded" that calls attention to... The art was very stimulating. We saw installation art considering the impact of weaponry and the TSA, photos of sharecroppers from the 1930's, art from the punk rock era, and much more. My husband and I went with my son, his wife, and six year old grandson. All generations were wowed had something to share.

I love contemporary art but was quite disappointed in this museum. There was a boring photography exhibit, a light exhibit and I don't know what else because we kept looking for something interesting and nothing was to be found. Even the "family" exhibit area was boring. Now I know why we were the only ones there. The building itself was... More

Although warned that the second floor was closed for an upcoming exhibit set up, we thought that it was fair that tehy charged 1/2 the normal admission... that was until we finished our visti in less than half an hour! What a waste of time... It is a small museum, at best, loaded with ink-jet copies of 1930s photos (interesting,... More

This is one of the latest museums to spring up in Colorado. The building is interesting, reminiscent of the 'Still' museum, both very modern. However, the collections needs a boost or the admission price should be lowered. Not yet a 'must see' in Denver.

Small and very odd. Exhibits had no raison d etre -- just thrown out there. Some knowledgeble staff, though. One trip of about 1/2 hour an you are done for life.

At $10, it is pretty pricey for only 5 galleries. I went when they had no exhibits and was allowed to walk through the building for $1. Check the web and see what they are showing before you go. I don't believe they have permanent exhibits, it is all traveling shows, or art created just for the museum. Be sure... More

This "museum" was very tiny. We paid $20 admission for the two of us and went through the whole place in 15 minutes. It really did not even deserve that much of my time. Don't waste your time or money on this one! I should say I love art and art museums, but this had nothing worthwhile in it whatsoever.

The building itself was worth the trip, loved the rooftop terrace. There is an education room that's well-stocked and had a self-explanatory craft that was fun and exhibition appropriate. The staff was very friendly, not at all pretentious. From the enthusiastic and helpful man at the front desk to the unobtrusive "guards" everyone was delightful. The exhibition was very cool,... I was not impressed with this museum. $10 for not very much good art to look at. The building was interesting but shoddily made. It doesn't seem long lasting. Only go if you have a student or senior discount. A dollar off for alternative transportation.
