These young performers did an excellent job. We had alot of fun and laughed so hard it brought tears to our eyes.

If you only go out for one night in Durango make sure you dont miss the melodrama. It is like no place else. Step back in time and boo and hiss at the villains and laugh at the vaudeville. Wonderful.
This is a grand old theater with great sound and professional products and shows!
I always have fun at the Diamond Circle Melodrama. I really enjoyed the "after show" with the musical numbers. They are always witty and drop dead funny! I love how I'm always surprised at the Diamond Circle Melodrama. The cast is always so good too! I applaud them for putting on such a good show! The drinks are really good...

My wife and I were looking for something to do during the evening while in Durango. While a "Durango Melodrama" didn't sound very enticing we the $48 after hearing a good reviews from the locals. What a pleasant suprise we experienced! Our waitress (as are all the waiters/waitresses) was in the melodarma and even though it was melodramatic the play...

Despite the glowing reviews, we had our doubts; and were very pleasantly surprised - all six of us had fun, including four adults, and an 11 and 15 year olds. Quite witty, very decent acting, beautiful piano playing. In my view - well worth the price of admission ($25); highly recommended.
We went to this theater 15 years ago with our children and chose to go back to see the current show during this trip. It was a fun evening with plenty of laughs. It is worth going to just to see the piano player perform. The setting is in a historic theater and is a melodtrama (where the audience cheers...

We thoroughly enjoyed the Diamond Circle Melodrama’s "Whoop Ti Ay” show. The fast fingered pianist, Nehemiah Powers, is absolutely amazing in this show; his performance alone is worth the admission price.
We returned to see Diamond Circle Melodrama’s second show, a melodrama and vaudeville called the "The Spoilers.”. The fast fingered pianist, Nehemiah Powers, was not so prominent in this...

The Diamond Circle Melodrama is the kind of place where you can'thelp but have a great time. When we went, I didn't have a clue what a "real" melodrama was like - I thought it was all about Dudley Doright and Snidely Whiplash. Boy was I wrong. Melodrama is a wonderful art form that was popular in the 1800s. It...
