This was the highlight of my recent weekend in Colorado. The trek up is fairly strenuous, but definitley worth the time. Wear comfortable shoes, the path is very rocky. Challenging !!! Took our group 45 minutes up at a good pace. Make sure you go ALL the way up..there is a hidden waterfall at the top. Too difficult for very young children and you won't want to get stuck carrying them. BRING WATER. more

This is well worth the hike. It can be difficult for some of us older people, but if you take your time you will be glad you made the journey. I would not recommend this trail to anyone with children under the age of 7, as I don't see how you will be able to climb and carry a child... more

Excellent hike! The scenery is beautiful and the hike itself is well worth the effort. I have some bad knee problems myself, but if you take it easy and pace yourself (bring a brace) you should be good. more
