I went to the museum because my wife has an interest in quilting (I don't) and was pleasantly surprised at the exhibit. The current exhibit is all male quilters. Each quilt was extremely unique and well put together. The woman taking the tickets was friendly and pointed out interesting facts about several of the quilts. Well worth the time.
If you are part of the quilting cult then you would like the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. My wife thought it was very well done.

If you're spending a pleasant day enjoying Golden, or if you are a quilt enthusiast, stop in the to this quilt museum. They have changing exhibits of lovely quilts. It it hard to rate it higher when you consider the size of the collection if you were a visitor from out of town.
The exhibits change often, and certainly appeal to quilters, artists, and anyone interested in history. The guides are very helpful and full of information.
Even if you have been to this once, it's worth going again since the quilts often change. One show featured quilts made by men. It isn't a lasrge museum, but many quilts are on display. there is also a gift shop.
