This is a small quilt museum, so a tour of it doesn't take too long. It is in downtown Golden, in the historic area. The exhibits change regularly, but the quilts are well displayed and lighted appropriately. You can take photos, but no flash can be used. The staff are friendly and helpful, and knowledgable about the current exhibit. The... More

I went to the museum because my wife has an interest in quilting (I don't) and was pleasantly surprised at the exhibit. The current exhibit is all male quilters. Each quilt was extremely unique and well put together. The woman taking the tickets was friendly and pointed out interesting facts about several of the quilts. Well worth the time.

This small museum in Golden, Colorado is a "must see" for any quilt lover visiting the area. The museum is fairly small so even the non-quilters in your group will enjoy it. The exhibits change so a return visit will be in order on your next Colorado trip as well! You can find the current and future exhibits listed on... More

If you're spending a pleasant day enjoying Golden, or if you are a quilt enthusiast, stop in the to this quilt museum. They have changing exhibits of lovely quilts. It it hard to rate it higher when you consider the size of the collection if you were a visitor from out of town.

Even if you have been to this once, it's worth going again since the quilts often change. One show featured quilts made by men. It isn't a lasrge museum, but many quilts are on display. there is also a gift shop.

If you enjoy quilting, then this is the museum to visit. There are several shows a year highlighting different themes. There is a small gift shop attached. Explore the latest techniques along with the old traditional quilting favorites!
