Wonderful actors! The play was very professional and entertaining and the cost was very reasonable. Right in the middle of Grand Lake, easy to find.
This is a very nice theater. Great sound engineering. The performance itself was well done - funny, hilarious. Actors did a great job. Good singing. Being in Grand Lake for a vacation will add a city life feeling to your trip. Definitely recommend visiting the theater.
Local repertory theater is something I really enjoy while travelling. This past weekend, we hastily arranged last-minute plans for an overnight motorcycle trip to Grand Lake, including a performance of the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." It's a very nice venue, and it was an outstanding production in all regards... casting, lighting, set and costume design,... More
Every time I visit Grand Lake in the summer, I attend one of the musicals at the RMRT theater. I am always blown away by the quality of the talent, the costumes, the scenery, everything. I have seen Broadway shows and this is just as good or better. In fact, some of the RMRT alums have gone on to be... More
Mostly young actors, many still in school. They do a lot of musicals. We've seen Man of La Mancha, Gypsy, several others of similar bent. A nice way to spend an evening.
The RMRT starts it's season in mid June and runs through September with three first rate productions. For the summer of 2013 they are presenting Peter Pan, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and A Chorus Line. Most actors and actresses are college students and after they go back to school the theater will present Cash A Ring... More
Great addition to Grand Lake. Affordable. Their seasonal venues are carefully chosen to entertain. Professional performances that always satisfy. A wonderful way to spend an evening.
We were treated to a great show on the last weekend of the season. The theatre appears to be new or newly renovated. There were no bad seats in the house. The staff was very courteous and friendly. This theatre is a must see on your list of good things to do in Grand Lake.
I visited grand lake this past week and no interest in going to see a show with 50's music. Never-the-less, I finally gave in and was treated to an extremely funny and entertaining performance by 4 excellent and talented performers. the show was "The Marvelous Wonderettes". Although I must admit I voted for June Carter, however "BJ"s Incredible likeness to... More
You'd never know it from the outside, but there's a really great theatre in there! The seating was very comfortable and I had great sightlines even though I was in the last seat in my row. Saw The Drowsy Chaperone and enjoyed it immensely. The show was sold out (I got the last two tickets) and many locals were in... More
